The Acute Care Pavilion project at the Queen of the Valley Medical Center is a state of-the-art 4-story structural steel frame facility 72,000-square-foot addition that enhances the quality of healthcare to Napa residents. Construction of the three-story surgery and intensive care unit begun in May 2010, and completed by spring 2013. This project has been designed to satisfy all LEED requirements for “green” health care facilities making it one of the first environmentally friendly facilities in the Napa area.
Signet provided special inspection and materials testing services for this project including soils/AC compaction testing and observation, concrete placement, shotcrete, masonry, asphalt, AWS-CWI structural steel/NDT, welding, metal decking, fireproofing and dowel/anchor installation.
