Township 9 is a planned mixed-use, transit-oriented development project located in Sacramento’s River District, bordering the American River. The new community (estimated at $2 Billion) will sit on 65 acres of in-fill land and include 2,350 residential units, 840, 00 square feet of office space, 140,000 square feet of retail space, and a new light rail station for the Regional Transit Green Line. The project is expected to achieve Gold status for The U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED for Neighborhood Development program.
MatriScope provided special inspections and materials testing services during construction of the new light rail station, renovation the scale house, mass grading, road improvement, site work, new apartments and parking structure. Services include trench work, slab-on-grade and precast concrete, site concrete, grading, and underground and dry utilities, concrete, Shotcrete, masonry, structural steel, and wood framing.
